Photography: Jason Goodman

Jason Goodman is an awesome photographer and friend, who we love traveling with! And what better way to travel than a trip to Honolulu for a once-in-a-lifetime wedding?

Seriously, when we went to Berlin with him this summer, this guy got into some crazy adventures that are so nutty, you’ll have to ask him for the stories in person. Ain’t no way I’m writing them down here.

Just like Tim, or actually any of my groomsmen, Jay is really really down-to-earth and easy to get to know. Unlike many photographers of today, most of his work is done the old fashioned way: film, negatives, smelly chemicals, you know…

The result is absolutely extraordinary, and our group WAITIKI been lucky to work with him on numerous occasions. Some interesting facts about Jay’s work: Leonardo di Caprio purchased some of his prints for a film; his photos have been printed in Downbeat, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, GQ, and others; and he even gets called by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC to do archival printing!

I think the best part though, is when we get to take pictures of him with his camera. Jay’s got a whole collection some place of (probably awful) portraits we’ve shot of him.
